Proper e-book formatting assures placement in the Smashwords Premium Catalog for distribution to Apple (distribution to iBookstores in 32 countries), Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo, WH Smith in the UK and FNAC (both powered by Kobo), the Diesel eBook Store, eBooks Eros (operated by Diesel), Baker & Taylor (Blio and Axis360 library service), Page Foundry (operates retail sites Inktera.com and Versent.com; and Android e-book store apps for Cricket Wireless and Asus).
Prices for General Fiction E-books: under 50,000 words start at $35, 60-80,000 words $50, 90-100,000 words $75, 100-150,000 words $100 per format* (prices for POD books start at 20 cents/100 words)

Formatting service does not include editing, copy editing or proofreading (but we can add these if needed). If your book is filled with gross typographic errors, Smashwords cannot accept it into the Premium Catalog, even if the formatting is perfect, and Amapola Press cannot be held responsible for non-inclusion in Premium Catalog.
Contact us with your project proposal. You may link work to Google Drive or Dropbox (or a cloud solution of your own); manuscripts accepted in PDF, Word, and OpenOffice documents. Otherwise, describe project including size of file, word count, genre, images and whether you'll require a linked TOC/endnotes/footnotes. You will receive an estimate. Response time is generally within 12-24 hours.
We'll work on projects in English and also en español. We offer formatting for Kindle, Nook and Apple Books, as well as designing paperbacks for sale through CreateSpace (now KPD), Ingram Spark and Lulu (interior layout and adapting existing e-book covers for paperback).

General Terms: I will provide up to three (3) revisions at no cost. Depending on workload, minor revisions take 24 hours or less; major revisions may take 2-3 days. Work beyond these contract specs may continue at a discounted fee with an additional 2 corrections to finish the project. Additional revisions will require a new contract. Some projects require deposit or funding, payment upon delivery (through freelance sites, PayPal or Google Wallet.)
